In its second year as part of the Schusterman International Center’s Student Leadership Development Internship pilot, the Hillel at Kent State Internship program has seen amazing accomplishments by its interns both on and off campus. Through the program, interns get to experience real world work experience and learn valuable professional development skills that will prove useful well beyond college graduation. Interns also obtain an in depth look at the inner workings Kent State and build strong relationships with essential University partners. Modeled on a relationship based engagement theory, interns gain experience with outreach and networking and are truly able to own and create experiences for themselves as well as others at Kent State University.
